Older than Cher. I watched this movie when it was still a pantomime on the streets of Brooklyn on the summer of the great Molasses spill.

Edit: ^ gaybird and unfunny
I watched it twice. The lack of finished special effects in some parts (the ending for sure) is laughable. Usually it'll take atleast a month or two to get a screener/dvd quality. Shit I had to wait like 3 months for a workprint of Pineapple Express.

I thought it was pretty good. Not a lot of character development with Team X, but still an entertaining comic book movie. Lots of cool quotables too.
Striker: "Your country needs you!"
Logan: "I'm Canadian."
The sequence at the end of the credits was badass.
"Drinking to forget?"
"No...drinking to remember."

Is it any more violent than x-men?
A wolverine movie NEEDS visible bloodshed.

Well, I saw the workprint version, so maybe the blood still needs to be edited in. There wasn't a whole lot of blood now that I recall.

Anyone else think that whilst parts of this movie were enjoyable, overall it was awful.
The characters were all forced into it. Fanboys are going to throw a fit. Deadpool for instance? Ending up shooting lazers out of his eyes and katanas coming out of his hands? Whats with him slicing bullets in mid air as well.
The action is kind of ridiculous in all those dumb explosions, that jump in the air explode the helicopter thing was straight out of Austin Powers.

I am going to reserve my judgement until i see a finished product
I did like the movie but it did kinda suck without the special effects

Well if anything I feel bad for people in production houses who are going to get in trouble for this.

I love the article on msn about this getting leaked on tuesday
Fox said in a statement Wednesday the version of the film posted online was not complete and vowed that the source would be prosecuted.
It said the FBI and MPAA are investigating.

I haven't watched it yet but my friend said for two frames in the movie somewhere there's this text that has a chick's name then says, 'This is for you'. Lol.

Some of the CG was unfinsished, and you can glimpse a wire or two. But overall impressed! Given some parts are over the top and a bit cheesy, it fits the part. Can't wait to see the DeadPool scene in all it's glory.
Recommended.
OLD. just 2c for ya

Are you kidding me? That fucking movie blew chunks.

That is true to an extent. But I burned a blunt right before all to myself. I was entertained the whole way through....
But yes if I were to pick it apart it could have been 1000000x better.
It was good for what it is, it also could have been even worse believe it or not.

Every Xmen movie post xmen 2 has been shitty as balls. They all lacked the character development and the grit of the first one.

Y'know why? Because Solid Snake wasn't involved in them (I'm serious).

Yeah this is old, I might consider downloading it. I've not seen any of the X-Men movies :eeek: but I downloaded the trilogy yesterday to watch.

It happened twice in the movie, once near the beginning/middle and again near the end.
The first one said:
ADR
KID group: Miss Kayla, Miss Kayla, I made this for you.
(kayla's a teacher, so it's said by a kid showing her something they made for her)
The second one said:
Kayla ADR:
'Walk away'
or 'Turn around'
ADR stands for "additional dialogue recording"

Every single aspect and event of Wolverine's life has been covered to DEATH. I'm TIRED of Wolverine. There are like 15 other fucking X-Men to chose. ENOUGH with Wolverine already.

Yes, David Hayter cowrote the script for the first one. He also appeared as a security guard and got his ass kicked by Ray Park.

I watched the first movie and I'm actually kind of disappointed about all the focus on Wolverine. He's badass and all, but there are so many other X-Men to choose from...
I'm gonna watch the rest of the series and download the workprint of the new one. I used to sort of pay attention to X-Men as a kid, I was never a huge fan, but I definitely don't remember all the focus being on Wolverine.
