After weeks collecting dust, my glass is ready for some action!

I will update this thread with progress pics, but for now lets collect some ideas:

We all know about the "healing" properties of white grapefruit juice such as the potentiation via P450 inhibition. So despite the taste and quantity to be ingested some people can justify bitter self-punishment for the desirable interactions with a large variety of recreational substances.

But imagine the possibilities that come with extraction, purification or if possible isolation of these so desired furanocoumarins/flavonoids...

For personal use to strech your stash or if one can press beans or just sell caps/powder this would be quite a cut/filler for molly caps, self-pressed OC08(not really), any amps, opes, MD*, benzos, and everything else that goes well with GJ.

Someone will say "just go get some tagmet hb, its the same thing you fucking jerk!" but hey where is the fun in that? also, it is not the same thing.

And these grapefruit seed extract arent very rich in anything besides maybe naringin. I wonder how they compare to skin or flesh of the fruit and other parts of that tree.

Any ideas for extraction out of GFJ or straight GF ?

You wouldn't be able to a/b the flavonoids from grapefruit

Abstract:
The principle bitter flavor components of natural grapefruit juice, naringin and limonin are substantially reduced by treatment of the grapefruit juice with a weak base anion exchange resin having a styrene polymer matrix carrying functional groups derived from a mono or poly amine. The ion exchange treatment also reduces the acid content of the grapefruit juice and does not impair the nutrient content or the desirable flavors in the treated juice.

Sounds like a good start there. Otherwise, I might suggest

Improvement of extracting naringin from grapefruit peel.
