Hi..

I remember someone telling me that the army won't take anyone with a history of mental illnesses (which is me, grr), is this true? However when I went to their website, it doesn't really say? see: http://www.forces.ca/html/index.aspx?m=0&lang=en&sid=162&sm1=4&sm2=0&tab=1&subTab=7

Can anyone tell me if this is true, if yes, is there any way that maybe I can lie about it?

You have to go through an evaluation regardless of your past and it may be taken into consideration in which case you'll have to jump through some hoops and a bit of red tape before they'll take you to make sure you're qualified.

"Mental illness" is a broad term. Many people suffer from a mental illness of SOME form. Defining your past "illness(es)" will help to further answer the question.
