I was poking around and found arleybobs thread with some stuff he just made.
Anyone else on here DJ? Make there own music on turntables/ CDJ's? Spin music etc?

I own a CDMP-6000 that I used to fuck around with, but now I use it generally as my sound/music system for my listening pleasure.

I'm pretty familiar with VDJ (beginner), SSL, and now I'm on NI Traktor. Due to learning on other people's crappy stuff and being broke I'm just waiting until I can A) Find a bargain on a setup or B) Afford the NI/Traktor S4.

Someday.... I did get to DJ a couple sets (2 different nights, one whole one and one 1.5hrs) at a local club which was awesome (even though the equipment was super sub par, and I was still mostly a nub). I got the floor moving and props from the crowd mostly due to my playlist/s and alternates which I had carefully selected and knew by heart. Then I got banned 'cause I was doing better than the kid who originally got the promoter to let us have electronic nights... he was pissed I was stealing his light, I would play electro/fidget and tech house with the occasional d/step request while he hardly tried. (Lazy bastard would just pump off gigs of crappy dubstep and play it through with autocue...all night).
