OK. So recently my friend has come across some CC dumps. Now he's read a few articles that state the obvious (dont use them at sites like walmart or bestbuy) or any website thats packed with loads of security programmers.
So one day he tells me why not use the dumps to purchase illegal drugs from individual sellers from drug forums? Surprisingly he's found a vendor who will accept virtually any type of payment including all major credit cards. Supposedly the server is hosted in some place where cops cant/wont prosecute/international waters etc..
So he's thinking why not just purchase the drugs using stolen CC info? Besides his IP/Mac address being discovered(not a concern) what else is there to worry about? Once the payment is made what could the CC company possibly do besides investigate the payment transaction?
My friend thinks if the dealer was covering his tracks they couldnt trace the payment to him anyhow. Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?
