Whats the best online game at the moment?

I played warcraft for a while but got bored as soon as the expansion came out.

Call of Duty and vietcong were pretty good too, but im looking for something new now...

Gears of War 1 was and still is fun for me

Call of Duty 4 has some of the quickest gameplay to date. (Cod5 doesn't seem right compared to 4)

Age of empires 2 was the worst in the series.
Just...fucking...terrible.

Age of Mythology was where it's at. It has Patrick Stewart cracking jokes at the end of the campaign for fucks sake.

God that brings back memories. I'd completely forgotten about that game but the hours I spent playing it... do people still play it? Maybe I'll reinstall and see if I can get a game.

Edit: Also gotta say CS 1.6 > CS:S. Maybe it's just nostalgia but I could never get into source.

I still love my Cod4. I could've sold it to buy some new games but I couldn't do it.

But do any of you guys think I should bother getting Cod5? I've played it at friends houses a few times and I was not too impressed. I can't see any advantages it has over Cod4 besides some new maps and guns to make it interesting and more people playing it. I don't know if I should just stick with Cod4 though...
