I just made a pizza with pesto, heaps of mozzarella cheese, spanish onions, chicken breast, capsicum, bocconcini, semi-dried tomatoes, marinated feta, bacon, peanuts and marinated lamb with just a squirt of tzatziki! It's in the oven cooking as we speak, I know it's a weird combination for a pizza but when I'm starving I just go nuts. So zoklet, what are all your favourite/least favourite pizzas? And if you have any interesting pizza combinations that you're fond of, please share them!

I always eat the toppings off the pizza first. I start with the olives, then all the rest together. Then I eat the base, eating the crust last. I love it when the crust is puffy and crunchy. Yum.

And to answer your question, Cappricosa is my favourite. I hate anything with anchovies and my Dad boycotts pizzas with pineapple on them.

I've never witnessed somebody eat the topping first. Very strange! I also love a nice crust, a lot of my friends throw theirs away.

I just found a slice of takeaway pizza I put in the fridge last night. It's so good words just can't express it. My favourite pizza is just lots of olives, good buffalo Mozzarella and a non-spicy meat - Italian cured hams are the best.

Anyway, I'd like to start making pizza. I've made it a couple of times but I wasn't happy with the dough. What's your dough recipe?

These are insane pizzas.

I've yet to try a type of pizza that didn't have some sort of merit. :)

Look at all that meat. Yummers.

I like ham, olives, mozzarella discs, sundried tomato sauce, olive oil, mushrooms and green pesto.

You've put too much shit on there. A pizza should be tomato sauce & mozarella plus one or two extras. Like ham & mushrooms, anchovies & capers, pepperoni sausage & peppers, etc...

Honestly, unoriginal as it is, pepperoni is my favourite type of pizza. It's just always a solid choice, and never disappoints. But any meat lovers pizza is my second fav. I don't really experiment that much in different toppings, and if I do then it's usually just a bunch of random toppings that sound good together.

I'll tell you what my least favorite "pizza" is. Pizza with "heaps of" motherfucking cheese. Why turn something that could be delicious and healthy into a greasy pile of shit?

Pro-tip: Add cheese (sparingly, of course) when there are about 3 minutes of cooking time left so that it won't burn.

I usually sprinkle a dusting of good quality chili powder on any pizza-like thing I make myself.

It makes any pizza better IMO.

I just got a slice the other day. It's about as bad as you could make a pizza, but fuck is it good.

Yeah I realised this after my first bite, it was a bit much. My favourite pizza still is and always will be margherita with chili flakes sprinkled on top.

I don't usually put too much cheese on my pizza, I went a bit overboard with the mozarella this time and it was way too cheesy, next time I'll tone it down.

Sounds pretty good regardless of the ingredient number. Sounds kinda like a deconstructed gyro.

I think the weirdest I've seen/tasted on a was a pizza mild spice paste with goat cheese and drizzled with dark chocolate.

I'm just all up for bacon and cheese right now..

A pita type base with tomato paste with basil and onion in it, chunks of roasted garlic, black olives, capers and a generous amount of olive oil on top. If you want add some bocconcini on it.

Also a brie, garlic and caper pizza is delicious. But if I'm going for my traditional pizzas: carpiccosa with no anchovies or a pepperoni.
