Plot Summary:Valkyria Chronicles is set in a fictitious continent reminiscent of 1930s Europe - divided in two and ruled by the Empire and the Federation. The Empire has set its sights on invading a small neutral country called Gallia, which is situated in the middle of the two great empires. The story follows a hero named Welkin and his fellow soldiers of the Federation's 7th Platoon as they engage in a series of epic battles.

Another new series that I recently watched
The main reason I watch it is because this is an adaption from a game. So?
This one is from a strategy game, that's why I have a big hope on this one
Because strategy means tactics, and tactics tends to have a mind fuck battle just like code geass

I watched it, my impression? The first minute I was like 'this is just a generic show', later on I was like 'this is a generic anime that I will enjoy'

The story might be a little bit cliche but for some reason I really liked it
And the art is a little bit sketchy.... if you know what I mean

This game used a BLiTZ (Battle of Live Tactical Zone) System

Combining turn-based RPG gameplay with 3rd person action games, the "BLiTZ" battle system allows players to battle with direct control in action sequences just as in action games, while also maneuvering through the vast world with strategic moves typical of tactical RPGs.

The battle is turn-based between the Player Phase and the Enemy Phase.

The first episode is well, not bad
The second is, uh huh
The third one, darn, my expectation come true
The war is coming and the tactics start. I always fascinated by stuff like this and this one is great
If you like things like JUST AS PLANNED
This is a must watch

I regret saying this one is a mediocre anime

As a fan of the game, this is pretty hard to watch. The art is terrible, and they've really done things to some of the characters' personalities.

I think the art is good tough and the character is well played
Well, maybe because I never played the game which probably much more better
But overall this series is entertaining, at least for me

The only thing I don't like about the art is that storybook filter. I know it's supposed to look like the game, but I think it's pretty distracting.

Everybody have it's own taste for anime
Some people might enjoy it, some people might not
Anyway, I just watched episode 6, which is yet another filler, and it's pretty funny though the plot a little bit absurd

I'lold several times
But I wish the previous episode like when Welkin and his troops have war in the woods become more often
