I live in a large farming community where every other year the farmers grow corn then soy, but only half do each kind. I have about 6 plots of land (5 plants or more each depending on how heavy the water gets), that look really promising and it is not a big concern around my area so the heat should be off. I know ill have to take a gallon of water per plant but how much nutrients would i need for each gallon. Do i need to test the soils PH before hand and figure out the nutrients at that time or??? and how would i go about testing the soils ph levels if i need to. Is it best to plant near center of the crops or near a tree line as long as the sun is not blocked?
