R.I.P Harry the K Kalas 1936-2009

for those of you who don't know who he was he was the voice of the philadelphia phillies. he collapsed in the press box and the washington nationals stadium. he was getting old but it is still shocking. i am just so glad he saw the phillies win the world series last year. and he got to throw out the first pitch at their ring ceremony this year to a standing ovation from the fans. you must be a very special person to have a crowd as tough as philadelphia fans embrace and adore you. harry the k kalas you will be missed and watching the phillies will not be the same without you announcing it. r.i.p :(
