A few years ago I emptied a mag of my P7M8 inside a house in Membabwe, on my way out after some things went sour. My left ear is mostly fine, right one lost a bit of range and has a wicked hiss when things are quiet. From now on when I go out strapped, I always have a set of earplugs hanging around my neck, just in case. Don't plan on being 60 and yelling WHAT all the time, leave that shit to Lil Jon.

Mostly got used to it except the other day, I was testing a silencer* ** for my .22 and ended up blowing a baffle stack into my sandbag pit, ringing got a bit worse for a while. Fuckin' sigh.

Guys, if you're going to plan ahead to arm yourself with toys that have triggers, you might as well plan not to damage your ears. Just a FYI.

**I only pay the $200 on builds that end up working right, that way I can still play with them in public, and I still enjoy them for a few months before the paperwork comes back. I'm a gentleman rogue, we're able to own shit legit.

Firearms forum is based around fetishism of "law abiding" activity.

Tinnitus is a occupational hazard of non-lawful activity.

yea. too bad this doesn't apply to me. My ears have had a constant ringing since I once had an accidental overdose. I just learned to live with it.
