Yeah, I really have no idea if I'll get in or not.

On the one hand I won't get in - I haven't done the right A-Levels nor had any art or design tuition, I'm not the most artistic person out there, my designs aren't mind-blowing and my portfolio is (possibly) not very strong.

On the other hand, I've worked really bloody hard just to save up enough money to actually go to university again, and I've put together a (possibly) good portfolio with no outside help whatsoever whilst working full time, and my designs and artwork are pretty good (or so I've been told). The technical skills that I'm missing can be taught pretty easily so the most important thing is the right attitude and some innate ability for solving physical problems, both of which I have. I'm not a kid coming out of school and just going to university because I don't know what else to do, and I've had opportunities to pursue careers in other things and chosen to do this instead.

It's weird how much I've grown up in the last two or three years. I almost don't want to be a full-time student again. When I first started posting on totse I thought that I should sleep with as many girls as I could, get as fucked as I could, do some shitty history degree just because that's the done thing. Give it another three years and I expect I'll be married.
