Zoklet is more of a successor to Totse than Totse2 will ever be. The text-file archive is nice, but the forums seem dead.

To be fair, a lot of the information was saved. I for know know at least 5 people that helped archive the text files, and forum archives. It's just a case of rebuilding up a text base.

I think that zoklet is obviously the new hive of the totse community, but it will never be totse itself. Same goes for totse2, we should let the name totse die with dignity, and move on.

So, Zoklet has the old mods who know how to moderate and keep things running smoothly, the members who liked totse for the conversation and information and new comers who like the atmosphere and the format.

And Totse 2 is all the kids running around spamming people and being offensive and "fight-the-power-man-anarchic".

1. You don't have a domain, leads me to think you are very young and dont have access to a bank account or CC to buy a domain.

2. Its a on a free domain, which you are clearly going against their TOS, so it wont last long.

3. Goes with #2 Its not on its own server let alone its own shared server. So you cant really host that many things, and prob if it had even half the ammount of traffic zoklet gets it will crash.

I posted this in another thread, but I figured I'd put it here too:

I'm honored to actually see a thread made for totse2. Just to let a few things be known, I'm not claiming to have all of the text-files posted, but I am working on it. I'm starting with the drugs section in carnality and working my way from there. I have about 300 as of right now. Also, most of you are saying how the layout and everything is crap. I'd be more than willing to listen to your suggestions. The reason the mods might not fully be up to par is because we are lacking numerous quality posters. If you want to join, contribute, and help, then awesome. If not, that's cool too. I haven't been a dick about things, so I don't know why everyone here is flaming so hard. Meh, do what you wish.

The "unpopularity" of totse2 makes me want to believe that the totse users here got emotionally hurt from totse closing down and don't want to spend time on a site that constantly makes them remember that.

Idio, you should really work with Zok and establish the text files here. Your userbase is relatively small, so why not merge with zoklet? It has better servers and more users so we'd be creating a larger community.

I'm just going to say that I don't hugely like Totse2 because it's almost like an imitation of Totse. I mean, it may be a good site and all. But it's just an attempted copy of the original. Zoklet, while the community members aren't, the site itself is original in idea and design. Personally, I think all that was great and unique about Totse should die with it. In a blazing storm of glory.
