Lately, I've been toying with the idea of just shaving certain parts of my face to achieve a certain look, because right now, I just shave my face clean all the way. I'd like to be able to just have the sideburns stay, and get rid of the fur on my chin.

My question is: When I shave just my chin, it always looks like one sideburn is longer than the other, how do I make my shave even?

Pick a spot on your ear and shave it till there for both sides.

Measure from the bottom of your ears with a ruler?

I don't know.. I usually just trim them to look even visually. Almost always have trouble with the length.. When I get the length right, I realize the angles are different. Quite a hassle..

I don't trim my sideburns and don't let my beard get too long, seems to take some of the trouble out. Having long hair helps too..
