apparently, the X-Box 360 still sucks ass (http://www.nytimes.com/2007/08/13/technology/13halo.html?ref=business)
I know the PS3 is ungodly expensive. I know the Wii is rather specific in its appeal. But only Microsoft could produce millions of a thing that barely works and count their sales as a success. I'm sorry - the PS3, while costing as much as minor surgery, does not break down. Even the Wii, which requires frantic arm-waving and a child-like enthusiasm to play, doesn't break down that much.
Microsoft needs to quit "brute forcing" the console market, and by that, I mean they need to quit feeding the non-nerd video game players. You bought your XB360 for what? Madden 200x? Halo? Yet another over-historic military combat game? a game that's out for all other consoles anyhow?
If I had the time to justify buying a new console, I'd buy a PS3 AND a Wii, just to make the point - the Xbox360 is redundant and sucky.
