with nothing but a demon black snake to keep and fill the time,
one black animal to fulfill what will never become satisfied,

the black snake is a personal name that I gave to heroin when I first started shooting, I wrestled with which animal to personify my day to day reliance to the drug and came to the conclusion that an allegorical snake would describe it best. I should stop now, before I tempt myself into getting off before 6am :)
