so you all probably remember this text file from totse, well i was over at bombshock and it was on the front page and i re-read it

of course outdated i look around at the atm's around me and most of them arent younger then 5 years, so this same little weakness must still exist in some atm's

idea is simple, buy laptop, have program that can read data, have cable that can connect to data, literally copy everything that the host sends to the atm when you take out money legitimately, then try and take out money with a card with no money on it, cut the internet cable going to the machine, and paste what you just intercepted from the legitemate transaction.

sounds pretty easy if we had a machine to fuck around with, anyone have any stories, links, advice on how to pull this caper off?

Sounds pretty difficult to pull off, but possible.
How would you slip the micro-comp/interceptor in? get a job as ATM-repair and slip it in without telling anybody?
I would get an ATM of my own, work out all the bugs, then implement on somebody else's ATM (using above ATM-repair method?). Seem like a bad idea?
