I just finished watching the 5th season of 24, and let me tell ya: it's f**kin awesome. http://forums.gleemax.com/images/smilies/shocked.gif

Season 1 got me hooked, with an intricate storyline and lots of twists, season 2 upped the ante. Season 3 took it in a new direction, season 4 threw in a few more twists, but DAMN. Season 5 just make me want to scream "JACK BAUER IS LIMITLESS!!!" http://forums.gleemax.com/images/smilies/w00t.gifThe end was a crazy cliffhanger, though (as I expected), and now I need to watch season 6 before I reply to this to update my full review of the show thus far...http://forums.gleemax.com/images/smilies/dancin.gif

Slightly off topic: I was thinking about turning this forum into a "TV Series" forum instead. I would be all for it if I could come up with a snappy name, but I haven't yet. That way I don't feel bad about talking about Weeds, or Heroes in this forum when it's called "ABC Series: Lost" Maybe like, "Addictive shit on tv"? or something. Someone who's good with words ought to suggest something.

I was thinking the same thing, but I still like the idea of having LOST in the name. How about "LOST and other things worth watching" or a similar title? Since LOST is my primary concern in this forum, and it is probably the best show we'll talk about, I'd like it to retain its title, so to speak.

But i do agree that the title should be partially amended to reflect the fact that LOST is only about 50% of the conversation going on in here.

I just finished season 5 and I'm in the processes of getting 6. I was pretty impressed so far. I heard that 6 and 7 are two of the better seasons, so we'll have to see.

well so far, only season 6 is out - season seven will be this upcoming January. Season 6 is good, though. Like, really good. I felt that it actually began to expand a bit more of Jack's personality and inner turmoil as a full-time badass, and like I told you before, by this point in the show, we're really starting to see overlying plot. CTU/Jack is usually it's own storyline each season, but the higher echelons of the government are like an ongoing thing - you'll really see that in season 6.

Also, when I wrote this post, the Wikipedia article for Jack Bauer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_bauer) read, simply: "Jack Bauer WILL FUCK YOU UP! He is often quoted for saying, 'I love niggas, but where's my bitches?'"
