You probably played back in JH or HS during your computer classes that always seemed to be on the computers there.

Was it Battle Tanks? Something like that I can't remember. I think its freeware now but I can't remember for the love of god what it was and I am trying to download it again haven't played it in years.

Basically there were two tanks on either side of the screen taking turns trying to hit each other using terrain, elevation and slight movement. You also had special rounds including the nuke :). Anyone remember this and what it was called?

We had Oregon Trail and Bugdom, both of which fucking rocked.

But yeah, just about all the Artillery games use elevation and the angle-of-shot to play.

This reminded me of a game that had to run with qbasic.exe called Gorillas (sp?).
You had to take turns trying to hit the other gorilla taking into consideration velocity and wind.

I used to be able to run Runescape on the elementary school computers (those shitty iMac G3s (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IMac_G3)). That was before I got addicted for a little while. Runescape addiction is so depressing.

We had Unreal Tournament set up on several machines in middle school/high school and opened them through LAN to play all across the campus. :)

I remember DinoPark Tycoon, Oregon Trail, Lemmings, some game where you're in a haunted house, and typing games with Kiki. Never did I want to kill a pixelated bitch more than Kiki.
