I like pictures of food. They're fun to take and fun to look at. And I remember kAtE- posting some really good ones once.

Do you mean like urban decay or portraits of orphans?

I had urban decay in mind, but you could find plenty of items with the appearance of abandonment.

It could be a good contrast to the last contest of a cityscape.

I like the idea, and I have a lot of good photos from an abandoned asylum near where I live. Literally abandoned too, it's like they just got up and left and never came back. There's still chairs and beds, old files, some equipment.

Getting knocked down soon unfortunately, and can't get back in.
I like the idea a lot, but it seems all the votes are going for food/drink.

That's awesome; I love urban exploration pictures. I've been looking for similar places around where I live to check out, but the only things I can find are a few abandoned houses in the middle of nowhere, which are only interesting for a minute or two.

If we end up not using this topic (or even if we do, really), I'd love to see those pictures you took.
