I remember watching the first few episodes of the series a long while back, and for random reason, didn't remember the series till today. So I thought I'd get some opinions from other's in the forum who may have watched, to find out if it's worth my time to find, watch, and finish? I want to know if there is alot of depth to the story and if the action sequences are worthy of keeping my interest.

The first time I saw Gungrave was on Tech TV when they used to show anime late at night. Good stuff, but they cut off the series and started showing reruns about halfway through.

Yet another anime series that I havn't been able to finish. :(

Same guy who did Trigun, so you know it's an automatic win in the style and action departments.

Wasn't Gungrave a game first, then an anime second?

I watched like one episode back in the day, I always intended to finish it but i never had the time.

Well, all the mods and admins were changing their user titles to "king" or "emperor", so I thought I'd try for something that would trump them all. :p

I'm pretty sure it was a game first. Looked like a pretty kick-ass game too although I've never had a chance to play it.

Gungrave is a lot better if you skip the first episode since it's just 1 big spoiler.

I literally just fucking finished watching the last episode. I just watched them all over again this past couple of weeks. I watched them all a few years ago.

I can say this my friend: "PLEASE FUCKING WATCHING ALL THE EPISODES!, and yes skip the first episode!"
