I've thought of the only way I won't kill myself right now is to find something I love and am good at. I love art, music, games, animation, getting high, drinking, shagging and literature however I am shit at most things I have just listed. I need a hobby, something I can do at home, get good at and not regret or give up on. Something that applies to my interests, my thoughts, gives me relief and gives me something to live for. I already know what many of the responses are going to be to my question i.e. "get a girlfreind" or "just kill yourself and give up" however I am still going to bust the question and request for advice and help on this. What kind of hobby can I take up?

p.s. I am not entirely sure this thread fits in this section however I couldn't find anywhere else it would be more fitting

If you've got the time take up trials. It's big in the uk, canada, and most of eastern europe. www.tartybikes.co.uk (head over to the media section). Find a forum site for your country.
I'm telling ya, there's nothing like the feeling of becoming in-tune with your body and understanding your own sense of equilibrium, it's extremely fun, and it's intense exercise so you'll reap the benefits from that too.

e: Check out danny mcaskill's videos, he only started about 4 years ago. Look at what he's achieved. Plus now is the perfect time to start, most people usually give up for about 4 months over the summer, now is the time people are taking it up again.

Pick up a language, I've been fine tuning my English & South Slavic for about 2 months now,let me tell you.. nothing better then being able to expand your vocabulary and speak to everyone in a different level (I'm not applying I'm better then others)

I can speak fluently with my 72 year old Grandmother in Serbian now, it's made her really proud. :)

There's just something really deep in languages that can make you connect with everyone around you, you'll be much more successful through your life. And they are not at all that hard to learn either!

Learn a musical instrument?

You say you're shit at music, but I refuse to believe that with a bit of time and patience you couldn't get to a good level of skill. And it'll be good for picking up the ladies.;)

if you're not against it try some graffiti. i used to spend hours everyday working in my black book and when you see your own work as you walk around you get a good feeling from it. it's the only form of creative expression i really ever got into so i don't know how it stacks up next to music or whatever. the best part though is that you can make music or paint canvas or whatever and maybe nobody will ever get to experience it but with graffiti you're almost shoving it in their faces so everyone has to experience it whether they want to or not. this is only an opinion so please don't flame me lets focus on helping the op.
