This was a really good book actually. Its non-fiction, and I came across it in the library while hunting for a copy of "Alone and Undercover" (or something like that) that I never found. Its about this sociology student at University of Chicago, who gets in with a local gang leader. He spends somewhere around a decade with the gang (not part of it, however), and documents some of the activities etc.
It was pretty interesting, a lot better than I expected. To be honest, I never really read books before, but after reading that one it inspired me to start reading again. I just picked up Darkly Dreaming Dexter, and am about to start reading it as soon as I go to drop a deuce.
