I got it. Some of the challenges in career mode are pretty hard, which brings back (bad) memories of Tony Hawk. But the bails are fun, and the overall atmosphere of the game is enjoyable. I'll be playing it until Resident Evil 5.

By the way, did you guys know that the RE5 demo comes out on the 360 and PS3 on Monday?

Agreed, the soundtrack is pretty poor. The skate. soundtrack was great though, i loved those Tommy Guerrero beats as i was skating.

Yeah i preorded skate 2, just never had the chance to pick it up. I hope when i go to the gamestop they atleast let me put the 1o dollars I put down on it for the preorder towards it.

It's pretty damn fun online...Woke up on Sat quite early and played against some Americans...I'm pretty good on the game and most of the freestyle challenges we did were solely down to me </ego>

The game is awesome although the off board controls are pretty disgusting, but beats not being able to get up stairs easy.

i picked it up yesterday after reading this thread, its good, but not as good as the first one. Somethings just dont feel right, or look right. Example: My character did a hand plant on a ramp, and his shoulder fell through his shirt.

Finally got it. I find the actual motion, controller responce to be lacking. But online is awsome since you can't just get the multiplier (my old tactic) so it seems more enjoyable.

i have recently played skate 2. its so fucking cool. u go to random places and try to get to special zones, while massacring people on the way. has anyone else played it? what do u think about it? i would definitely recommend it. i played it on xbox 360, and idk what other systems it goes with, but i would assume PS3.

downloaded the demo, and it reminded me of the transition of THPS2/3 to THPS4. In other words, I didn't like it.

This game is really fun for street skating, but it's terrible for vert. Also, any soundtrack with Black Sabbath, Wu Tang, RATM, Motorhead, and Nas is a winner, even if it contains a Dragonforce song.
