So, I was reading up on different forms of Government earlier today (no reason in particular). I came upon Totalitarianism, which I already knew about. However, today, my mind suddenly linked Runescape (which I played when I was a lot younger) with it. Then I thought of every other MMORPG. They're all a virtual world where Totalitarianism is in charge, right? So what if they were created to prepare the younger generations for a real-world scenario where a Totalitarian government is in control?

I'm going to use Runescape/Jagex as an example because it's the one I know the most about.

- They control and censor every piece of reading material
- They silence (Mute or Ban) every person who doesn't abide by 'The Rules'
- No advertising any websites, No offensive langauge, No talking about Macro software etc.
- They have the beginnings of their own religion. The three Gods, Zamorak, Guthix and Saradomin. They have started to write something heavily disguised as a story, which could easily be turned into a bible of sorts for the games very own religion.

Anyway, some people might say "stfu its just a game".. Well, as I've said, What I'm actually saying is that it's been created to get people used to the idea. What if it's just being planned to slowly phase in a Totalitarian government?

Well, this is my first post in this forum, and I've never actually had an idea for a conspiracy theory before. If this just seems completely ridiculous, please structure your arguments properly.

Maybe. Whenever I play civilization revolution and it's around the year 2012 all the other countries turn into communists and attack me and each other. I thought the game makers were trying to hint that world war 3 will be around that time, and dictatorship will rule.

I also noticed that when the intro movie is played, they nuke America and they show Abraham Lincoln looking concerned about an Arab city in the backround, implying that the middle east is going to nuke America.

Yeah. What if there was like..some sort of electronic device which would entrance them and program their minds without anyone's knowledge. The parents would practically leave it up to this device to raise their kids, leaving them open to programming while the parents serve the work force. We could plant one, if not several of these devices in every home.

And if that isn't enough, we can make it mandatory for the children to attend some sort of brainwashing institution where they are made to think a certain way and conditioned to obey any and all orders authority passes down to them. They could spend a stupendous amount of time at these institutions. Then when they come home, they will be eager to get back in front of the brainwashing device I just mentioned until they fall asleep, ready to repeat the cycle over again until they join the workforce.

hmm..But how to go about this.
