thanks for the compliment about personality i guess it shows through better on the sketchbook pages because most of the time i draw as like a pass-time and i hardly know whats going down till the page is done lol im sure you guys know what i mean.

about the story writing; i have tried but my scripting really sucks. that five page mini comic on my deviantart is about a small town that gets attacked by vampires and all the tweakers go crazy when they get bit and turn into demons with X's on their foreheads and all the stoners who had THC in their system werent affected for some sceintific reason that would be explained by a crazy haired proffesor. i didnt get very far on it though. probably better since in the end the town was going to be saved by a giant bong lmao.

It's quite hard to say exactly why I like these, to put it simply I just find them aesthetically pleasing. But I like how both of these artists have deconstructed the objects into completely new forms. Also the way Delaunay has expressed several different viewpoints in one composition.
Making solid look liquid. With Miller I think it's the way he breaks up the colours and light which creates an interesting depth to the composition.
I think with things like still life focusing on detail is a bit boring seeing as we now have photography to express this. I find it more interesting trying to express something more than just reality.
Post a few links showing what kind of stuff you like. I'm interested now to see what you like :p

The various details in this are enjoyable. I like the color changes at the bottom right, and the intricacy between certain things. I used this for a quick example. I had a bigger post... buuuuuuut.... somehow it vanished or got deleted :(
