Which do you believe would help you pick up on a language quicker?

Watch a movie you're already familiar with in English and then watch it in French with French subs. Helps a lot with being able to recognize sounds, which is especially helpful in spoken French.

As I've often said, I'd recommend children's movies. I must have seen Ice Age, like, 10 times in French.
