Is the entire world going green, with the major US automakers essentially being controlled by the government and in the face of new leadership, will America start being a more responsible global citizen and accept the Kyoto Accord? Does this reflect a shift (paradigm if you will) in the way we think? Are we becoming less selfish as humans?

America would never spend hundreds of millions of dollars on a satellite that does nothing except print out environmental data, but if they would, and did, I think the world would become a much more sustainable place to live.

I like to think yes (but I'm an optometrist) your opinions?

edit: for the slow that was a joke.

Anthropogenic global warming is a hoax. Thankfully, our political leaders see it as such and refuse to waste their time on the flavor-of-the-week pseudo-science the academians try to force on us.

So you think polar bears , which have evolved as such for 100,000 years are suddenly(within the last couple of decades) in steep decline because the Ice they live on (their range if you will) is slowly disappearing just randomly as an act of nature?

Yes and maybe once it gets warm enough they will evolve to be like all of the normal bears whose survival is not contingent on ice. Or maybe it's not going to get that warm at all, and you and all those like you are full of shit?

You've been duped by bad science. It's not your fault.

Guess the humans weren't producing enough CO2 during the last ice age.
