There's books that aren't included in the bible. Umm, the history channel had something about that on a WHILE ago. But yea, I can't think right now about what their names are. Try just googling, missing books from the bible.

There are no parts missing from the bible, since it was assembled from various gospels and other texts by the chruch father at various ecumenical councils.

The bible is a whole, but there are gospels and texts not present in it. One of those texts in the gospel of Enoch to which you're referring. (it's only canonical in the Ethiopian Orthodox Church)

It's like the gospel of Judas, it exists but the church didn't agree with it so it didn't make the bible. There are a lot more gospels though but most have been lost in time. The dead sea scrolls are a good source of a lot of non canonical jewish/christian texts.

If you're interested in reading more I'd suggest you google "Apocrypha", which is the term used for non canonical religous texts.

As Fza said, there are no missing pages from the bible, because the bible is merely a collection of various gospels written by different authors. Throughout the years, kings and other rulers would make changes to the bible, removing or adding or even changing the texts. The King Richard's version is not (As many people believe) the "original" version of the bible, or even remotely close.

Earlier versions of the bible depicted a character named Lilith before Eve, who left because she wanted to be treated as an equal to Adam and Adam wouldn't have any of that shit.

But yes, it is all mythology.

If you Google "Lilith" you'll find a stories about her being Adam's first wife. Scroll down to Chapter 10: Adam's Helpmeets

there was a story of a poor person in the desert finding a chest, t first he did not open it because he feared it could contain evil spirits, then he though iit could be a treasure cheast so he went ahead. inside he found several books/scripture (lots of which now make up the bible) some of the works were sold but the cheast finder was illiteral so could not read and burnt 1/3 of the books of fire wood.

i cant remember where i heard this but i have heard it several times

Nag Hammadi Library, baby.

The promise of eternal life which Christ held out to his little flock was no hoax. Christ had taught them how to do it; it had to do with the immortal plasmate which Fat talked about, the living information slumbering at Nag Hammadi century after century. The Romans had found and murdered all the homoplasmates-all the early Christians crossbonded to the plasmate; they died, the plasmate escaped to Nag Hammadi and slumbered as information on the codices.
Until, in 1945, the library was discovered and dug up- and read. So Thomas had to wait-not forty years-but two thousand; because the golden fish sign wasn't enough. ImŽmortality, the abolition of time and space, comes only through the Logos or plasmate; only it is immortal.
We are talking about Christ. He is an extra-terrestrial life form which came to this planet thousands of years ago, and, as living information, passed into the brains of human beings already living here, the native population. We are talking about interspecies symbiosis.
Before being Christ he was Elijah. The Jews know all about Elijah and his immortality- and his ability to extend immortality to others by "dividing up his spirit." The Qumran people knew this. They sought to receive part of Elijah's spirit.

You just raped the deadsea scrolls story. The only part that's correct is the last one, they actually burned a lot of it because they didn't have fire wood.

It was already mentioned earlier in the thread too.

The churches can't even agree with what books are in the Bible. The Ethiopian Orthodox Bible has 88 books and some Protestant churches don't even use the Old Testament.

The missing pages are the "This is a fictional textual work of art. All depicted here is a mere work of fiction..." disclaimer.

Another good point. I've also heard that there is 28 different versions of the bible be used at this time.
