Yeah, primaries don't make good propellants... and the only time I have seen HEs as propellants in the traditional barrel and projectile sense was some weird experimental underwater pistol cartridge powder that was cut with some percent RDX or something. And in this case the RDX was not detonating, just adding to the volume of gases produced. I'm not really counting ammonpulver here though it could surely detonate under some conditions.

Austrailia is tough for chems, but they are there you just have to search harder. IIRC there is a thread on RogueSci about OTC chemicals in Austrailia, that might be something for you to check out. There are a couple pyro chem suppliers... Just not many... Like maybe 3 or 4 total if I remember correctly.

For cannons granulated black powder (not pyrodex) is generally the norm. If you like living dangerously you could read into using fluffy nitrocellulose as the fuel. There are probably a few videos on youtube. When it works well, it works really well. If it fucks up your cannon is shrapnel.

I used to have a hook up who bought me fireworks every queens birthday and I would cannabalise those if I wanted blackpowder and fuses.

first of all AP is way way way too fucking iffy to be used as any type of fuel for a cannon. As everyone said it's a 80% chance it will go bad, and frag is not your friend. Also if I would use a rubber stopper or something for a projectile until you are 100% on the cannon, when trying ideas like this (even if everyone says it's stupid we can't stop you for doing it) you NEED to be safe. honestly, if i was going to do it, I would: dig/find a pit/trench and rig up some type of shield to stop sharp, use E-det, do the math on how much gas pressure a given amount of AP gives out/ how much the pipe can take...now that I think of it, I would never do it...and this is coming from a guy who put NG on his dick...twice.

OP if you want still want to do this you can use BP, somewhat safely. You can find all the chemicals where you live OTC. If not ordering them online shouldn't cause to much attention.

so...if you read any text books on A&P you will learn that the penis is really nothing but a sponge like tissue that swells with blood when you become aroused. this said nitroglycerin make the blood dilate to larger then normal size, this would be why you get a headache if you get any on your skin. SO...I was thinking one night "you know, maybe...just MAYBE this will work" so I tried it wanting to see what would happen. i got an eye dropper and put a small amount on my dick and went at it in a VERY SLOW pace. If they are sure that you know what you are doing, you have researched a lot from reputable sources, and your not going to burn the house down/blow yourself up/blow up mailboxes/attract attention from law enforcement... Then you have a fair chance.

One time I ebayed 500g of KNO3 from an online supplier.
I don't know if it got caught up somewhere or what but it never arrived.
I was the first thumbsdown rating that guy got on his ebay page though, so I assume he was pretty good.

My extended family is indian on my mums side, every time we catch a plane, at least half of them will be taken aside for questioning, no joke. This has made my mum extrememly paranoid about being seen purchasing Anything that might be questionable, to the point that she won't buy well needed fertilizer for the lawn or even cooking knives :P

Use your head and you'll find it no dramas ;) .

Wells, I've done this. Sort of. I fired a BB with a pen filled with AP. It put a nice smear of Cu/Fe on the thing I shot it at.
