Good way for getting library books

My library, and most that I know of, have a self checkout, where you put your card under a scanner. Then you're meant to put the item barcode under, and it will demagnetise the thing that sets the gates off. So, you put the item you want to KEEP underneath the item you will return, the machine should demagnetise both. So you get your bottom book for free. I have like 800 books, and have joined with like 20+ libraries, never failed. Even gotten shit from their heritage collections - no barcodes, just walked out with it - sold them off at auction for quite a sum - unfortunately they installed new security and bitched about me being on camera, cops are being called, return them etc, I just said it wasn't me, I hope whoever got your stuff will return it - some cop just left a note under my door, obviously didn't reply, never heard from them since.
