I watch a lot of children's programming over here, because the Japanese is at an easy level to understand, and because they speak really clearly. In particular, I watch NHK-e (the children's channel) pretty much every morning while I eat my breakfast and fill myself with caffeine.
Ironically, not only do I usually watch the show that I linked a screen shot of above, but I actually saw that exact episode, and nearly spat out my coffee. I'm glad to see that someone else caught that, and posted it on the internet.
And believe me, there are far stranger things lurking on Japanese TV than that.
