I've been getting the same thing.

It doesn't happen that often, but every once in a while I get a text message like "Im going to mexico", and when I try to reply the person never responds.

What's strange is the numbers are in my area code, but they're different ones every time. This only started happening in the past few weeks.

Oh okay, I guess I misinterpreted what you wrote. That's still weird, though.

Apparently that`s been happening a lot lately in Canada, I got at least 50 calls about that last week.

Right now it`s being investigated (again, only in Canada I can confirmed for), it seems to be an exchange error.

I know it's completely unrelated to the topic at hand but whoever had my new number must have been selling some type of narcotic. I still get sketchy calls in the middle of the night asking me "if I'm good", or "Can you help out"... and I switched my number like a month ago

to OP, i havnt had that happen yet, but i think i would get a new number, in case something illegal is going on through you number...regardless of who is doing it, this ties you to whatever the bad guys are doing with it,you will be guilty until proven innocent.

But its like totally random txts ppl say im sending out like "the partys at my house" or just a FWD chain mail. plus it costs like $5 or $10 to change my number. I think its just soemthing wrong with the network like when you have cordless home phones picking up other peoples conversations by accident.

AIM bots are fucking awesome for this, since they send out a text message to a phone number. Script one up to start at a certain range, and lulz your ass off :D

Also, you can super message bomb people and lock them out of doing anything to their phone (if their phone sucks) or fill up their inbox in a few minutes.

How would you go about super messaging a phone through AIM? I already have a bot set up with IMified, I just don't know the code.
