My dad, I guess since I turned 16, has been real open with me about it. When I was younger he used to tell me brief, very cliche snippets of his childhood, now he tells me that he has smoked pounds and pounds of weed, done ounces of cocaine, sold it at one point, used to run meth for his friend, tried basically everything, etc. He has a decreasingly negative opinion of drugs as I get older.. When I was 14-15, "never smoke weed it'll make you stupid..", when I was 16, "You can try it once you get out of high school" and now he says "Don't smoke too much weed you'll get lazy"

oh, and I've done hydrocodone with my dad which was kinda humorous, i revealed much more knowledge than i ever wanted to but whatever it was cool.. we split the last of his wife's vicodin from her pregnancy and got pretty messed up. and of course we've gotten drunk/smoked cigs together..

My mom told me a story about her smoking weed one time and then said she never did it again, but I recently found out that her ex before my dad was a drug dealer :p

The thought of my parents doing drugs of any kind, let alone pot is quite amusing. By all rights I should have been raised by hippies.... They were 18 & 19 when I was born in 1963. I should have grown up listening to the Beatle and the Door's and such. The only time I heard the Beatles was if the Ray Coniff Singers did a copy of one of their songs. My parents are like Ward & June Cleaver. They like Perry Como, Bing Crosby nd all that crap.

That's not to say that I don't like my parents - I do. A lot. But you can see why I would want to live 500+ miles away from them. I do give them credit, though. In the past decade they have changed a lot. Loosened way up. I think part of it was all the pain my dadd went through and trouble with his back. They finally understand why I would turn to using heroin for my pain. Even more amazing was when they were told about my medical pot card. Just to kinda tweak them on the fact that I can smoke it legally I asked if I had to smoke my pot outside like I do with cigs. Much to my surprise, my Momm said: No, that you have to smoke out back. Couldn't believe they were actually going to let me smoke pot there.

My sister is like my parents too. Still married to the guy she married right after HS, 2.5 kids and pets, etc...Seems like all the females in my family are. And all th males are like me...But I digress...

the first time i ever watched the wall was when i was 11 with my dad. he said the first time he ever saw this movie he was on 3 hits of acid. i later found out that the reason my parents got a divorce was because he got into coke. he's always been an alchoholic, and me and him grew a few plants last year. my mom used to smoke weed and shit but not anymore. anyway i should get to the point. if you think your parents did drugs, just ask them. they will have some great stories. you might learn a thing or two, and you might gain a bit of respect for 'em.

I smoke pot pretty frequently with both of my parents and my brother, although my dad is quitting for a little while because they're going crazy with drug tests where he works. My dad even said he would love to trip on acid or mushrooms with me. He's done pretty much everything, he used to be a hippy. My mom used to smoke crack too.
