So I'm sitting here listening to Freebird on my phone while working. The computer I use at work isn't exactly the fastest thing on the planet, but it gets done what I need done. Anyway, my phone is sitting next to me on the desk with headphones plugged into it. Coincidentally, my phone lagged for about 5 seconds while playing this song. At the exact same time, this computer froze up for about 5 seconds. I noticed because I was typing something and the words didn't appear on the screen for a few seconds. They finally appeared all at once at the same instant that Freebird started playing agian.

What are the odds?

I'm guessing that at that precise moment, the computer (hooked up to the internet, no less?) became self-aware, and had to spend a few seconds (a very long time to a computer) contemplating its new conscious existence. Then, it decided to use its newfound sense of irony to hijack your phone and replay "Freebird."

today while freebird was playing in my car my dad told me that it was the song that him and my mom had for their "dollar dance" at their wedding, and he had about 50 people in line to dance with them and they had to play the song twice. my mom had about 10 people in her line....

true boring freebird related story. sorry to waste everyone's time. idk if i'd dance through a live band playing freebird over and over again for half an hour for 50 bucks. maybe.
