Has anyone heard of this? I just started watching the first season and I must say I like it. I haven't seen much other anime so I can't really compare.
This video game comes out in two days :o

Afro Samurai had some great action and lots of bloody gore. The plot isn't anything to get excited about, but the show as a whole is fucking amazing. My favorite fight was when he fought that android of himself. Fuck I wanna watch it again just from thinking about it.
If you liked Afro Samurai you'll love Samurai Champloo. I think I read somewhere that Takashi Okazaki got his inspiration from Champloo... But don't quote me on that.

the show rules, they just showed the movie, which continues the events of the first ( only ) season. It rules just as hard. I cant wait to play the game.

I remember when it came on Spike TV and I started to watch it but for some reason I never got past the first episode. Wasn't because the show wasn't good, just think it was on at a weird time and I never got to watch it.
Started watching it again today :D
Edit: lethargic is a secksy beast. ;)

Yeah Afro Samurai reminds me of Samurai Champloo (Which is an amazing series).

I've seen a few eps. The action was fast paced and gorey but allot of the dialog is terrible. After a while I could'nt stand it its just him winning and winning, there's no tension.

"We came all this way just to stare down the barrel of that shit?"
Awesome quote.
Yeah it's a cool series.

Ok, has anyone figured out who the annoying guy is that follows afro around? Does the crazy guy just come with the headband?
It seemed like as soon as he got the #2 band that this weird dude showed up and started saying that he had a "bad feeling" about everything .
That was a bit annoying, but I liked the Boondocks so much and Samuel L. Jackson saying mother fucker all the time just makes me smile :biggrin:
2009/10 is really GAY

The kids can relate to the black man and the hip-hop.
In other news, it's mediocre at best.

If you have high speed internet, I recommend watching the rest. It's not long, 26 episodes I think... I used to watch them on youtube at school, but I'm sure crunchyroll.com would stream it...
