So basically, this show (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Journeyman_%28TV_series%29) is a steaming pile of crap, a straight-up rip-off of Quantum Leap, except for people who need to act on their masochistic tendencies through television.
But.
I have this idea.
Usually, Dan Vasser jumps into the past of someone in his life, and then "fixes" their future time line by altering history "for the better." I mean, anyone who's seen Back To The Future will tell you this is a terrible idea. But what if instead, Dan Vasser jumps into the past of Alex Graves, the show's producer. Then, in a heroic attempt to prevent this piece of crap show from ever being aired, Dan Vasser must somehow stop the initial production of the very show through which he is doing it.
Not only does this create a brilliantly mind-bending feedback loop of broken causality (ie. the killing-your-own-father paradox), but it also crosses the TV/real world line, and spares us all further episodes of this garbage. That's a season finale I would pay to see. Or not see, depending on whether Dan Vasser is successful or not. Take that as you will.
