I went to the movies today
a story about a girl
sixteen
pregnant and indignant and
much like the rest of us
so I thought.

But I couldn't help but notice
all the little girls in front
dressed in their tightest jeans and
whitest masks

they giggled and talked and
flipped their phones all through the movie.

I wonder, right now, if I was so
inescapably dumb and unconcerned
way back then when I found girls
like that attractive. I wonder

did the alcoholics behind me
want to slit my throat like I did them?

And I think, of course
of course not. Instead of the theater
I went to the nearest bar
and watched as they stuffed away the few notes
from down in my pants

The first time I saw a vagina was in a Penthouse
and even now it looks like a medical record.
Nothing there but a big fucking hole to
dissect and understand.

Looking back, I must have been androgynous
or maybe more concerned with getting high
instead of fucking the next annoying child
like I was supposed to do.

I still want to slit their throats
just like back then when
I didn't know any better.

Slitting throats is so inefficient.
Go for the jugular, cortoroid, or coronal suture.
/shitty joke
Pretty sick poem though, I can relate, I'm printing this out.

Printing it out? Wow, that's a first for something of mine. Awesome. Glad you liked it.

So did you want the girls to leave the theater or what?

Loved this part
I wonder

did the alcoholics behind me
want to slit my throat like I did them?

You do make a good point though with this. I mean, you're probably being pretty literal about this, but it will make you think about what you do and how you see things differently at differing times in your life. Regardless of it's philosophical implications, I still like it, haha. Rhythms a little weird for my style, however. Oh well.
