You're gonna need some tomato sauce, coffee grounds and distilled lemon juice, mix it all together and it will make somethig very much like chloroform, in fact Soviet troops in WWII did just that. Wet a rag with the mixture and place it over said friends face, within 3 or 4 seconds he should slowly go limp and pass out. Give him said bashing and leave him to wake up, it's best to do this when at least one other person is around since when he wakes up he'll be confused and wont know who did it.
