I want you to know
I am happier than ever
which isn't saying a lot for most but
a lot for me. You must understand we
are all aliens but you've done more than most.

I don't mean to hurt you and
don't always believe what you see.
Taken out of context I'm far more an ass
than actuality.

This is one of the worst
poems I've ever written but
somehow one of the most
meaningful and true.

I fucking hate
these trite things
but just know

You will never
understand but
nor will I ever

and we're better off
that way

for now.
