Craigslist renting

is it safe to assume that rental properties on craigslist are mostly legitimately priced and real. Reason being I don't yet live in the area I will be and would like to secure a place to live before moving.

So what's your experiences with craigslist if any. didn't know what forum to put it in but w/e. :cool:
