INGREDIENTS

Brownies:
* 1/2 cup butter, melted
* 1 cup white sugar
* 2 eggs
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Glaze/Icing
* 3 tablespoons butter, melted
* 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
* 1 tablespoon honey
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 cup confectioners' sugar

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8 inch square pan.
2. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the 1/2 cup melted butter, sugar, eggs, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Beat in 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/2 cup flour, salt, and baking powder. Make sure not to over-mix (I like to use a big wooden spoon).
3. Spread batter into prepared pan.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Do not overcook.
5. To Make Frosting: Combine 3 tablespoons melted butter, 3 tablespoons cocoa, 1 tablespoon honey, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Frost brownies while they are still warm.

Notes:
* If the icing is too thick, mix in a bit of hot water
* If doubling the recipe, omit one egg (3 eggs instead of 4).
*These are really sticky, so you may want to line the pan with foil and grease it generously. Afterward, you can just take the whole thing out with the foil :)

Enjoy!

I just immediately left and made these brownies once I read this post. Delicious w/ milk. I was impatient and they're like 3/4ths cooked.

Looks interesting, I especially like that I've got all the ingredients sitting in my cupboard. I've never made brownies though, how do you tell once they're cooked (I'm guessing oven temps may vary here)? With cakes I usually put a wooden skewer through them and if they come out clean, they're done, is it the same with brownies?

I've read it 3-4 times, and you forgot to put the step where the weed is mixed into the butter. ;)
