Now that is all fine and dandy, but she likes to call me names and get all mad about the subject because I disagree with her. What more, she thinks I like to come around just to piss her off, which isn't true in the least.

jebuonag came in on the subject and defended the same ideas I had. What did Kinkou do? Get pissed and whined about how I am the "scum of the world" and how my kids will hate me and she hopes I die. Now that's pretty childish to me. I never said anything mean or bad about her or to her, yet she wants me to die simply because I don't agree with her on something?

There is no doubt that the climate is changing.
Is it man made? There is just not enough credible evidence.

Many scientists believe that it's just earths natural cycle. How did all the ice melt at the end of the ice age? How did it get there in the first place?

Although countries should try to reduce dependancy on foreign oil and coal, we really shouldn't be investing is "green energy" until it's worth it, because frankly most of that shit doesn't work.

This whole "man made global warming" thing is being peddled by fear-merchants, who want you to buy their questionably green products.

we use preservatives to keep things from going bad, for convenience, because people are lazy. most of the conventional preservatives being used today like parabens (which are hormone disrupters and are linked to hormone related cancers such as breast, which men can also get) and sodium laurel sulfates (detrimental on your immune system, and can combine with other ingredients in your products over time, resulting in nitrosamines which are carcinogens) just two name a couple of the more popular preservatives. you can probably pick up any product in your home, or even most foods, and find one of these if not both. there are HUNDREDS of different types of ingredients which are harmful to us, and not good to rinse down the drain or have around small children or pets (red flag, eh? it'll make your kids or small animals sick but you *should* be fine! seriously?) this stuff isn't just preservatives, it can be what you're using to fix your problems (which there are ALWAYS more natural ways to approach problems if you actually want to learn what is causing it and how to treat it correctly) this is stuff like emulsifiers, what is used to make suds in your soap, thicken products et cetera, all so you feel better about them and think they're working. they actually serve virtually no purpose, and are not healthy for you to eat or absorb into your skin or rinse down the drain
i realize that most people live in a city with a water treatment facility that cleans shit out of the water, but what do you think your treatment facility does with the waste? i also feel bad for all the shit you're drinking in your treated water, chlorine, flouride, what ever they might add to make it *better* or keep it clean

Most of those include variations in sunlight, and substances in the atmosphere, which block it.

The sun is increasing in brightness, but greenhouse gasses are not increasing.

The sun's light has dimmed, dramatically, between 2003, and 2009.

If this is so, then why is the climate change still occuring?

In relation to anthropogenic climate change that information on its own proves bugger all, unless you can find a causal link rather than just a simple correlation.

And scientifically the concept of "natural" has little to do with how rapidly a change occurs. The Earth being struck by a 10-mile wide meteorite is a perfectly natural event, just an extremely rare one. And if a sufficient number of methyl clathrate deposits were to destabilize, climatic change would occur very quickly. However all of this could, and has, happened without the influence of man, thereby also remaining perfectly natural.
