its not all about the KIDS you retard some parents dont like the hassel of pets. One of the reasons why my mom didnt want my sister to have a cat is becuase it shits, which you have to clean up, its fucking annoying, some cats are asshole and bite people and not to mention dogs are even worse for this. Plus i doubt that what ever you call it has rabies, aids or anykind of diseases to transfer to the kid. Also parents end up doing most of the work after the kid gets bored with it ok.
