Well, its safe to say it plays exactly like RE4.
Thoughts on the demo? On how the final product will turn out?

Haven't gotten around to it yet, but I think that statement is a good thing, not a bad thing. I was never really happy with fixed camera angles. I really like how RE4 did everything.
I just hope the story isn't the same.
Edit: Just got back from playing the demo. Not sure if they chose shitty levels to demonstrate the game, but I really don't like the "wave after wave" thing. I don't like the new Inventory system, the partner micromanagement is annoying, too. I assume she'll be with me the whole game, for those gimmicky "Partner throw" areas and to make sure they do n't actually have to work to make Online Coop, they can just slap the person in the woman and everything would behave the same way

Wasn't the demo released a few weeks ago? I'll download it later tonight, I guess.

This. I watched some demo videos on YouTube, and I'm not looking forward to having to give my partner ammo and health throughout most/all the game.
And yeah, RE4 did everything right as far as I'm concerned. The slower-paced "survival horror" style of the older games was good for a time, but I'm glad they embraced the action aspect of the series.

Apparently there was a Japanese demo, but people outside of Japan could download it.

Apparently this game's only going to be fun in co-op. That fucking Sheva is smart enough to shoot an explosive barrel next to her, and I'm not going to stick around playing singleplayer to let her do that. I'll be playing co-op only. Anyways, the executioner boss was way easier to kill with the shotgun than those faggot-ass guns you have to use against the chainsaw guy, especially with the other niggers popping up in every corner.

Why even bother killing him? It's a timed event.

Shits and giggles, I guess. The demo loses its fun real fast.
