Holiday in Vietnam

I just got back from a 2 week vacation in Vietnam. I spent Christmas at the location of the Tet Offensive. I think that's funny. I'll post some pictures tomorrow when I have time.

I started in Saigon/Ho Chi Minh City, went southwest to Cantho on the Mekong Delta, hit up some cities in central Vietnam (Nha Trang, Hoi An, and Hue), and then made my way up to Hanoi and Ha Long Bay for the last part of my journey.

It was a pretty awesome experience, and I don't know if anybody here is interested at all in southeast Asia/Indochina, but I thought I'd share some pictures that I took while I was there.

Here are a couple videos that I took. The first is of some kids playing a game called Da Cau near a park in Saigon. It's kind of like a mix between hackey sack, badminton, and volleyball. Anyways, I thought it was pretty cool.

This second video is a very short clip of a very cool elderly Vietnamese woman who helps run a cafe in Hue called "Cafe on Thu Wheels" (Thu being the owner of the cafe and, I think, the daughter of the woman in the video). Anyways, I took the video of her on Christmas Eve when I spent the evening drinking with my traveling companions and some backpackers we met in the cafe.
