Not to necro-post, but I just thought it was worth bumping this back up with the comment that I now officially KNOW SOMEONE who has done this diet.

I keep one inside me as a kind of secret pet, I got bored of my last one and killed it myself. It emerged from my ass in slimey silver coils, and is now kept in a plastic tub in my fridge.

Wow. Thats gross, but its also true. I dont know about the getting tapeworms thing, but the -our bodies being totally clean- thing yeah, its not something natural and something the body naturally likes. Now people will get badly ill for the weakest thing while some two or three hundred years ago they would drink river or pond water from an unclean leather pouch and not be affected. Except for Brittain. They did have awfully unclean conditions and very poor nutrition back then.

It wasnt until influenza virus and TB came up from China and the black pest from India and Turkey that medicine became an important concern.

Also, fuck the East. All of today's crazy and dangerous diseases came from there. (Crown virus = Flu, Sars; Anthrax (old Indo-European section); TB, the Pest.
