For those that don't know about it: http://www.afflictionclothingstore.com/

They basically are the top brand for religious/gothic/pseudo-Japanese/MMA themed t-shirts and clothing. It's not for everyone but generally their shirts are badass. They're also about £40 - £90 a piece.

I just managed to snag this beauty on Ebay:

http://i.ebayimg.com/15/!BVIrJgQCGk~$(KGrHgoH-DoEjlLlzR(4BKQ8)BehI!~~_1.JPG

For no more than £15 including shipping etc instead of £40 maybe more, which wouldn't include the shipping costs .

There are tons more "shops" on Ebay selling these brand new with the tags still for about £20 when the RRP is about £70+. What's best is they are Buy It Now stores, no need to bid.

So if you want expensive, fashionable. brand new Affliction t-shirts without paying out your ass for them have a look on Ebay. Really. It's amazing.

No, they just get you barred from some of the best bars and clubs. They're gang-chic.

They're not "gang-chic" Euda. Some gang types wear them because they're linked to MMA and they're expensive as hell. It makes them exclusive and makes them stand out is all :p.

I'll believe you, but those are still the main people wearing them here. They're stylish with people who like rabble rousing, hurting people, and laying the boots to people.

Tom Atenico, a public relations representative for Affliction Clothing, which also makes UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture's Xtreme Couture line, points to the price-point and higher-end retailers who carry his company's label. He believes they illustrate that the brand of choice of mixed martial artists is a far cry from rapper Fifty Cent's G-Unit Clothing line.

To label us "Gang Wear" is ridiculous, Atenico says. We sell our clothes to places like Nordstroms, Macys and Metro Park in the states. I highly doubt that you'd see gang bangers shopping in these types of stores. Our established demographic is 25- to 45-year-olds who can afford our clothes and don't want to flip-flop between brands. It's not as if we cater to the younger crowd. We have 45- to 50-year-old businessmen who wear our clothes because they like our clothes and they can afford them.

I opened that website. The first thing I saw was Ozzy. As much as his music kicks ass, he is a dyslexic old fart who can't talk well and is advertising shirts.

So no.

paying more than $20 for a t-shirt is pure ridiculousness. And anything more than $15 is pushing it.

Yeah, you can't get into some clubs wearing brands like that where I live. For the best, I think those shirts are douchy as hell. Almost as bad as TAPOUT.

the guy in your quote sais there demographic is like 25-45 yr olds because the clothing is expensive and young gangsters that make money like to be wearing premium expensive clothes. The company might not intend to serve the thugish market but they do. But i dont mind ill wear dat sheet cuz im gangsta gangsta ya'll
