Faint. (Yes, crapping your pants works too)
But really, the other night I was at Station and this dude Vinny offers me some peanuts. Only after eating one or two did I notice that they were not peanuts but rather cashews. I'm allergic to tree nuts. Usually when I eat them I just get a scratchy throat, swollen tongue and lips, and then I'm fine again in 30 minutes.
Not this time. This time I felt pretty normal for the first 30 minutes. A bit of scratchiness and swelling - the usual. I get home from Station and start having hot and cold flashes. Then I started turning red and it felt like my skin was on fire. It was about that time that I called Sarah and told her I needed help. She drove me to the ER. When I got to the ER my bloodpressure was about 75/something - which is WAY too low. I was fainting, I could not see, and I was starting to lose hearing too. The only thing I remember is talking to the receptionist for a few minutes, then tearing off my shirt from the heat, then waking up with an IV in my arm. I was there from 11:02PM until about 4AM and went through 2 IVs benadryl: http://zoklet.net/otg/showpic.php?id=92
The doc said I should have just called 911, but since Mercy is down the street I didn't bother.
What an experience! Oh, and my dad finally believes that I'm allergic to nuts now.
