So, I need to convert music held in OGG files to MP3 format so I can upload them onto my portable player. I know it can be done, but I don't know which program to implement. Can anyone give me an idea of this please? Also, I'd like to convert some FLAC files into MP3 (I don't want any hell for this, right now accessibility > quality). Can that be done?

Format Factory is pretty good, there is a cracked copy on Demonoid.

MediaCoder (http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/) works pretty well if you need something free. Otherwise, Easy CD-DA Extractor (http://www.poikosoft.com/) is my favorite for this kind of thing. dBpoweramp (http://www.dbpoweramp.com/)is another option.

Honestly, SUPER© is the best converter for both video and audio. Don't let anyone tell you differently.

I still think Format Factory is better.

Audacity does this. Though if you need to do several audio files in a batch, you may need a different program.
